THE STANDARD — PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Overview

The Standard is a biblical stewardship habit tracking application ("App") developed and operated by Gallo Fitness LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use The Standard on iOS or Android devices.

By downloading, creating an account, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The Standard is intended for adults aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name and email address. This information is used to create and manage your account, allow you to access your data across devices, and communicate with you about your account and the App.

2.2 Habit and Usage Data (Free Tier)

If you use the free tier of the App, we collect:

Habit completion data (which of the six biblical stewardship habits you have marked complete on any given day)

App usage data, including session frequency and feature interactions

We do not collect any journal entries, notes, reflections, or personal written content from free-tier users.

2.3 Premium Content (Paid Tier)

If you subscribe to the premium tier, you may create the following types of personal content within the App:

Daily notes — personal written notes attached to your daily habit log

Custom habits — any additional habits you create beyond the default six

Daily examen entries — written reflections submitted through the daily examen feature

Weekly reflections — written responses submitted through the weekly reflection feature

This content is personal and devotional in nature. It is stored securely and is accessible only to you. We do not use this content for marketing, advertising, profiling, AI training, or any purpose other than delivering the App's features to you. We will never share, sell, publish, or reproduce your personal reflection content without your explicit written consent.

2.4 Subscription and Purchase Data

Subscription purchases are processed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform. RevenueCat collects purchase history and, if you are identified by a user ID linked to your account, that linkage is disclosed to Apple and Google in accordance with their App Privacy requirements. RevenueCat does not collect payment card information — that is handled directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

2.5 Automatically Collected Data

When you use the App, we and our third-party service providers, may automatically collect limited technical information, including your device type, operating system version, app version, general locale and currency code, and anonymized usage analytics. This information is used to maintain App functionality, diagnose technical issues, and improve the App experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and maintain your account

Deliver the features and functionality of the App

Process and verify your subscription status

Send transactional notifications related to your account or subscription

Diagnose technical issues and improve App performance

Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal reflection content — including daily notes, examen entries, or weekly reflections — for any purpose beyond delivering the App's features to you.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

RevenueCat: Our subscription management platform. RevenueCat processes purchase history and subscription status on our behalf. RevenueCat acts as a data processor under its own Data Processing Agreement and complies with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable privacy laws. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Apple App Store / Google Play Store: When you download the App or make an in-app purchase, Apple or Google processes that transaction under their own privacy policies. These platforms may collect download and usage data in accordance with their respective policies.

Expo / Expo Application Services (EAS): The App is built using the Expo development platform. Expo may collect limited technical and diagnostic data as part of the App's infrastructure. You can review Expo's privacy practices at expo.dev.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gallo Fitness LLC or our users.

4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your premium content — including daily notes, examen entries, and weekly reflections — is stored securely and is accessible only to your authenticated account.

Despite these measures, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We are not responsible for how data is stored, managed, or secured by third-party platforms (including RevenueCat, Apple, or Google) beyond what is described in their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your account information and usage data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the App's services. If you delete your account, your personal data — including all premium content such as notes, examen entries, and weekly reflections — will be permanently deleted from our systems.

Account deletion is available directly within the App and does not require you to contact us. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by using the in-app account deletion feature or by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

8. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications through the App, you consent to receive habit reminders, check-in prompts, and feature updates via your device. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings. Disabling push notifications does not affect your account or subscription status.

9. Children's Privacy

The Standard is intended for adults aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from anyone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at [email protected].

10. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or resources. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the App.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where practicable, by sending a notification through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, consistent with our Program Agreement and Terms of Service.
