About Gallo Fitness
Gallo Fitness exists to help high-responsibility men over 30 lose 20 or more pounds and reclaim their physical capacity without turning fitness into a second job. It is built for men carrying real weight at work and at home—men who are tired of feeling like they can handle everything in life except their own body.
For a lot of men, the real problem is not a lack of discipline. It is that they have spent years becoming dependable everywhere else while slowly losing trust in themselves. They show up for the job, the deadlines, the bills, the kids, and everyone else’s emergencies—but their own health keeps getting pushed to “later.”
The Mission
This is not a brand built for guys who want to live in the gym, obsess over rigid meal prep, or pretend life slows down after 30. It was built for men with long workdays, travel, family responsibilities, and a growing awareness that the way they’ve been living is no longer sustainable.
I’m Spencer Gallo—a construction project manager, husband, father, and coach. I built this business in the exact same margins many of my clients are living in now. Long days, job sites, commutes, and family responsibilities forced me to design systems that hold under pressure.
At Gallo Fitness, we apply strict engineering principles to your health, building a structure around your actual schedule. The mission is simple: help you rebuild your body, energy, and confidence through an engineered system that survives real life—so you never have to start over again.
Why I Built It
On paper, I looked like the guy who had it together. I built a strong career in engineering, designed major projects like the Penn Medicine Pavilion, handled pressure well, and became the person people relied on when a project needed fixing. I could carry responsibility without flinching.
But outside of work, my life was falling apart. My weight was climbing, my energy was inconsistent, and my lab work was creeping toward pre-diabetes. I was using overwork, avoidance, and then drinking up to 12 beers a night to numb the stress and pretend nothing was seriously wrong. I was quietly sabotaging my own life, and it nearly destroyed my relationship with my wife.
The extreme fitness pushes I eventually took to try to fix it all caused my body to shut down and landed me in the ER.
Things began to shift on our honeymoon in Bali, where a profound moment of prayer brought me back to the faith I had been running from, exposing the gap between the man I was and the man I was supposed to be. But the absolute breaking point was the day my daughter was born.
By then, I had paid over $20,000 in coaches over two years, only to end up nearly 30 pounds heavier. Being told to take 15 supplements a day, and just hoping they knew what they were doing.
But sitting in that hospital room, when they laid my daughter on my chest, the truth cut through every excuse: I was not the man I needed or wanted to be for her. I promised in that moment to protect her, and I knew I wanted to be the kind of dad whose name commanded respect, not an eye roll.
To do that, I realized I didn't need another motivational speech or extreme diet. I needed a system.
I had spent my career engineering systems and solving complex problems on billion-dollar job sites. I finally asked myself a harder question: If I know how to engineer complex outcomes at work, why have I never applied that same mindset to my own body, habits, and leadership at home?
That question became the foundation for everything Gallo Fitness is now.
What Gallo Fitness Is
Gallo Fitness is not just personal training. It is a systems-based coaching approach for men who need a plan built around real constraints, not fantasy schedules.
That means we do not start with punishment. We do not assume you have unlimited time, perfect sleep, or the ability to train six days a week. We do not throw generic macros and hard workouts at you and hope it works.
We build from the ground up using your real life: your schedule, your responsibilities, your current energy, your comprehensive lab work, and the actual bottlenecks keeping you stuck. The goal is not just to help you lose weight. The goal is to help you become a man who can trust himself again.
That means having energy when the workday ends, building a body that supports your responsibilities, and doing it in a way that can survive busy seasons, travel, stress, family life, and everything else that normally destroys momentum.
What Makes Us Different
We believe men do better when the plan fits the man—not when the man has to rearrange his entire life to fit the plan. That is why our coaching is built around structure, data, and sustainability.
We focus on building around your actual schedule, responsibilities, and bandwidth instead of forcing you into a plan designed for ideal conditions.
We focus on what actually moves the needle for busy men: efficient lifting, smarter nutrition, respect for recovery capacity, and lab-informed decisions when needed.
The system is designed to keep holding up through travel, family demands, poor sleep, high-pressure work weeks, and the chaos that normally kills momentum.
For a lot of men, this is not only about looking better. It is about rebuilding self-respect, becoming more present at home, and acting like the man they know they are supposed to be.
What We Stand For
Motivation fades. The right engineered system keeps working when life gets chaotic.
Your plan should work with your job, your family, your stress, and your bandwidth.
The deeper goal is to become a stronger steward of your body, energy, leadership, and family.
Progress starts when you stop outsourcing responsibility for your health and future.
The standard is not just a leaner body—it is becoming a more grounded and present man.
Who This Is For
Gallo Fitness is for the high-responsibility man over 30 who has achieved in other areas of life but knows he has let himself slide physically.
He may be successful on paper—handling the projects, the deadlines, and the pressure—but frustrated in private. He feels older than he should, heavier than he wants to be, and less disciplined than he knows he is capable of being.
He may have tried diets, cardio phases, challenge programs, or expensive coaching before and still ended up right back where he started. He does not need more noise. He needs a blueprint.
If you are a high-performing professional, a father, or a man carrying a lot of responsibility while quietly losing ground in your health, this is for you.
